5th Day Deliveries
Meals on Wheels (MOW) is one of TCOA’s best known programs. In addition to delivering hot, healthy food, the friendly volunteers provide some of the only human interaction a client may get that day.
TCOA has unique volunteer needs on “5th Days,” and several routes that need filling on those days! So what is a 5th Day?
When a volunteer signs up to deliver MOW, they usually choose to deliver on a specific day, such as the 1st Monday or the 4th Friday of the month. This helps to create regular, dependable schedules for volunteers. Some months have a 5th Monday-Friday of the month. It is usually a rare occurrence, so there is typically no one who signs up to volunteer on these days. This leaves a major gap when they do occur. This is where you can come in.
Please contact Casey at 517-887-1377 to get started, or simply fill out the volunteer application using the link above or by printing the document below. Thank you!
