TCOA is the state-designated Region 6 Area Agency on Aging (AAA) serving Clinton, Eaton, and Ingham counties.

TCOA is a member of the Area Agencies on Aging Association of Michigan (known as 4AM.) From 4AM’s website: 4AM is a statewide association that advocates on behalf of Michigan seniors. 4AM is a collective voice and action to promote healthy aging, dignity, and independence.  4AM is the association responsible for advocacy, training, and education for the sixteen Area Agencies on Aging across the state of Michigan, including Tri-County Office on Aging.

Advocacy efforts of the AAA’s and the Association are made on a national, state, and regional level.  Through the Association, its members participate in advocacy efforts that impact seniors and persons with disabilities.  Our goal is to provide timely information on important issues and bills being discussed and voted on in the national and state Legislatures.
