Services:
The Mid-South Substance Abuse Commission is the coordinating agency for
all licensed and funded substance abuse programs in Calhoun, Clinton,
Eaton, Gratiot, Hillsdale, Ingham, Jackson, Lenawee and Shiawassee Counties.
Services are provided through programs under contract with the commission.

NCA/LRA is a substance abuse treatment agency that provides services for
people experiencing problems with alcohol or other drugs. Offerings include
information, education and treatment on an outpatient, intensive outpatient
or long-term residential basis. Special programming is available for women
and families.

Hours:
Inpatient: 24-hour service. Day care: 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Intensive outpatient:
6:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m.. Traditional outpatient: on an individually scheduled
basis.
Services:
Detoxification and residential 14-21 day inpatient program providing therapy
on a one-to-one and group basis with heavy involvement with Alcoholics
Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous. Detoxification is a separate service
available if necessary. Family therapist available to counsel families.
After-care program after inpatient stay. Services also include a day care,
intensive outpatient and traditional outpatient program. These offer the
same services as the inpatient on an outpatient basis.

Self admit or as referred.
Cost:
Coverage by private insurance and Medicaid.
