Activities available including large book selection, cards, board
games and music by senior band. Provides meals on Monday, Wednesday,
and Friday, and meals are delivered to homebound seniors. Surplus
food distribution, information and referral, blood pressures taken
and income tax services. Call for information on trips.
Eligibility:
Age 50 and over. Must be 60 for meals.
Cost:
None. $2.00 suggested donation for meal.

Annual health screening, chore service, transportation, information
and referral, intergenerational programs, monthly foot clinics,

classes, recreational opportunities, quarterly newsletter. Tri-County
Office on Aging senior dining site at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday,
Thursday and Fridays. Reduced taxi transportation program is also
available.
Eligibility:
Open to any interested persons.
Cost:
Varies by class or activity. Donations requested for lunch. Cost
of mailing the quarterly newsletter to residents outside of East
Lansing is $5.00 per year.

Services:
A multi-purpose center offering a variety of services to older persons
in Clinton County. Planned programs and activities include a Tri-County
Office on Aging lunch program on Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday's
at noon, weekly potlucks, bingo, exercise classes, senior bookworm
study group, euchre tournaments & occasional day trips. In addition
seniors can come & just sit back and socialize, listen to occasional
guest speakers, do arts and crafts, play pool, work out in the exercise
room or check out large print books or video tapes.
Eligibility:
Any senior citizen.Monthly calendar of events available.
Cost:
A $2 per person donation is encouraged for the Tri-County nutrition
meal-please call and reserve a lunch the day in advance. Minimal
cost for bingo, euchre, day trips and fundraising lunches.

Services:
Provides a variety of services to senior citizens including those
who only speak Spanish. These services include Information and Referral
on topics such as Social Security, SSI, Medicaid, Medicare, Food
Stamps, housing, health programs, property tax assistance and utility
assistance. Emergency prescription help may be available depending
on funding. Outreach service is provided to Spanish speaking senior
citizens to inform them of services and programs available to them.
The program also provides advocacy on behalf of senior citizens
to insure that they are receiving benefits they are entitled to.
The Center also provides other activities such as meals, arts and
crafts, music and educational classes (i.e. English as a Second
Language). Transportation is provided to medical appointments, social
services, nutrition program and grocery shopping. Bilingual staff
available.
Eligibility:
Spanish Speaking senior citizens age 60 and over.
Cost:
None. Donations accepted.

that will enrich the lives of seniors in the greater Eaton County
area and encourage a real sense of belonging o the community. Various
activities, games, speakers. Meal site Tues.-Thurs. at 11:30 am.
Facility available to rent for private functions.
Eligibility:
Seniors 55 and older in greater Eaton County. Associate memberships
for those 55 also available.

The Eaton Rapids Senior Center offers Tri-County Office on Aging
nutrition meals on Monday, Tuesday and Fridays. The center is a
source of information, referrals, outreach access to legal services,
socialization, recreation, educational services, and individual
counseling. It is a warm, friendly place for seniors 60 and above
to enjoy and feel welcome.
Eligibility:
Persons 60 and over living in Eaton Rapids and surrounding area
or anyone interested in aging programs.
Cost:
Donations encouraged for meals.

insurance. Assistance with property tax and utility rebate forms
is available. Advocacy on behalf of older adults to insure they
are receiving benefits of programs which they are entitled, is also
available.
Eligibility:
Persons 60+ in the Grand Ledge School District area and Eaton County.
Cost:
None. Lunch is $1.50 donation.
MERIDIAN

Offers a wide variety of programming for older adults. Bridge, exercise,
tap and line dancing classes, craft classes, bingo and special programs
on foot care, life enrichment, trips, tax service and more. The
Tri-County Office on Aging provides meals on Tuesdays and Thursdays
at 12:15 p.m. Reservations should be made no later than noon the
day before. Transportation is available for those in Meridian Township.

Membership fee is $10.00 a year. Monthly newsletter is published.
