Eligibility: Ingham County residents age 4 and over.

Cost: Sliding scale fees based on income.


AFFORDABLE DENTURES

Hours: 8:00 to 5:00 Monday through Friday. Appointments are not required but recommends that patients arrive at the office at opening time to register for services.

Services:  Provides dentures & extraction services. Three styles of dentures: Economy dentures is the most affordable & available with same-day service. Custom dentures are made with more expensive teeth, set in a wax base to try on & make changes before being cast up, often on the same day. Premium dentures are the most natural looking made with the best denture teeth which are highly resistant to wearing down & do not stain easily, the teeth are first set in wax to try on & make changes before lab will custom finish.Often available the same day. Two types of partial dentures-cast metal, and acrylic available along with other services.

Cost: depends on dentures or service chosen. Fee schedule available for current prices. Call for more information.Payment is required at the time services are performed. Cash, Mastercard, Visa, Discover cards & checks accepted.

Hours: Mon. 1 p.m.-4 p.m; Tues./Thurs. 9 a.m.-noon,  1 p.m.-4 p.m. & 5 p.m. - 8 p.m.; Weds./Fri. 9 a.m.-noon & 1p.m.-4 p.m.Call for an appointment.

Services: Dental care for those without insurance. Includes: Emergency Care for severe pain, swelling and infection. Goal is to see every patient within 24 hours; Extractions- Routine work such as exams, cleaning & education on preventative oral care & Fillings- basic work only-no crowns or bridges, dentures, replacement of missing teeth, molar root canals or braces.

Cost:  Based on ability to pay up to $25 per visit.

Eligibility:  Ingham County residents or those with a Lansing mailing address.

Hours:  Monday through Thursday 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m and Friday 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Services:   Reduced fee dental program, not insurance. Participating DenteMax dentists have agreed to accept a discounted fee as payment in full for each of the services included. Average 20% -50% lower than standard fees on most dental procedures, including preventative and specialists. Participating specialists include: Orthdontist-braces; Periodontists-gums; Oral Surgeons; Prosthodontist-bridges and dentures; Pediatric dentists and Endodontists-root canals.

Eligibility:   All Eaton County residents. No age, income or health restrictions. Annual renewal application required.

Cost:  $69 per year can include up to 9 persons residing at the same residence or students in college. Payment can only be made by credit card.

Hours: Varies, but usually Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 noon and 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Early September to Mid-May).

Services: Preventive dental services are offered to assist the patient to retain her/his teeth for a lifetime. This includes: medical-dental history, oral exam/screening, dental education including a home care kit, prophylaxis (teeth cleaning), X-ray pictures (as needed), topical fluoride treatment. Fillings, dentures, extractions and diagnostic services are not provided.

Eligibility: Open to public, must be willing to spend extra time for appointments. More time is needed than general dentist's office because students are learning and performance is reviewed and evaluated by licensed dental hygienists and dentists.

Cost: General fee of $20.00 to LCC students and seniors. Additional charges as necessary. Minimal fee charged to cover cost of material and supplies.

Services: One time comprehensive dental treatment with a volunteer dentist.

Eligibility: People who, because of a serious disability, medical problem, or advanced age, lack adequate income to pay for needed dental care. There are no rigid financial requirements. We are unable to help people with private dental insurance.

Cost: Usually no cost to client. However, people in a position to pay for part of their care may be encouraged to do so, especially when laboratory work is involved.
