Barry Eaton Health Connections: Phone: 1-800-553-2565. Primary care clinic for Barry & Eaton County residents who do not have health coverage and meet income guidelines. Services include: primary care visits; limited diagnostic services, such as outpatient lab and x-rays; limited prescription coverage. Limited to adults ages 19-64 (children and seniors would most likely qualify for Medicaid or Medicare coverage and would be referred to the appropriate program' have no health insurance. Cost: $10 co-pay per office visit; and $5-10 co-pay for prescription medication INGHAM
COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT Hours: 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and 1:00 to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Wednesdays open until 6:00 p.m. Services: General - Immunization clinics (see below), physical exams, blood pressure, public nursing services, which include home visits by public health nurses upon request. Some water testing done as part of environmental health services. Eligibility: Persons must reside in Clinton, Eaton or Ingham Counties. Call for further eligibility information. Cost: Immunization fees vary except for TB skin test ($5.00) Most immunizations for children are free. Physician fees are based on a sliding pay scale. Blood
Pressure Testing Clinics Breast & Cervical Cancer Control Program - Free breast & cervical cancer screening available to women age 40-64 in Ingham, Clinton, Jackson & Gratiot Counties. Services include Pap test, pelvic exam, clinical breast exam & mammogram. Follow-up services also provided if breast and or cervical abnormalities. Cost is free. Medicare (Part A only), Medicaid and other commercial insurance accepted. Women in Health Maintenance Organizations (HMO) not eligible. By appointment only.
